Virginia Brown is a freelance journalist, writer, and editor with over a decade of in-house and freelance editorial experience.
Her recent stories appear in The Washington Post, Atlas Obscura, Southern Living, AAA Traveler, Apartment Therapy, Arkansas Travel Guide, Next Avenue, Columbus Monthly, and many more.
She holds a master’s in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School and a B.A. in communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
On assignment, Virginia has flown in a helicopter over St. Lucia, interviewed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and shared the stories of countless inspiring artists, chefs, and entrepreneurs.
A former communications director at a large performing arts nonprofit, she also works with corporate clients and nonprofits on brand and sponsored content, newsletters, websites, and e-commerce writing.
Virginia is a professional member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors and lives in Little Rock, Ark.
